The packages are prepared and delivered to the transport agency on the working day following the placing of the order.

Special promotions and sales

During special promotions, seasonal discounts, Black Friday, Christmas and in sales season, the times in the preparation of your shipment may be different from those described here and may suffer a delay of between 48 and 72 hours depending on the availability of the products and the number of orders received.

Easter holidays 2022

From April 7 to 14, 2022, both inclusive, we will temporarily close for holidays. Being national holidays on April 14 and 15, all orders placed between April 7 and 17, both inclusive, will be shipped from Monday April 18.

Trade fairs, model railway exhibitions and other events

During the time of participation in trade fairs, model railway exhibitions and other events we attend, no online orders will be prepared or shipped. Orders placed during these periods will be prepared and dispatched from the next working day following the closing date of the fair, exhibition or event, which can be viewed on the EVENTS WE ATTEND page. If you are placing your order on this website, please note that your order may be subject to a delay in delivery if the date you confirm your order coincides with an event detailed on this page. However, we will do our best to deliver your order as soon as possible from the day after our participation in the event.

Delivery times

The delivery time of your order once it has been shipped and delivered to the delivery service depends on the transit time indicated in each delivery method. Normally for standard services, the transit time will be between 1 and 2 working days on domestic shipments. In shipments to EU and EEA countries the transit time will be between 1 and 4 working days depending on the country and the city of delivery. For countries outside the EU we cannot in any way indicate or guarantee the delivery time as it depends on the postal service. You must bear in mind that the delivery of your order will always be made on business days, not delivering orders on Saturdays and holidays, so if you place your order, for example on a Thursday afternoon, you will not receive it until the following Tuesday at the earliest, since we will deliver it on Friday to the delivery service and deliveries on Saturday are not contemplated.

Time windows

The parcel company with which we currently work does not contemplate the time windows, this means that the delivery is made from 08:00 to 20:00 hours and you can not specify a certain time slot for the delivery.

Parcel companies

In El Imperio Del Hobby we entrust our shipments domestic and to EU and EEA countries to the company GLS for the quality of service and the low number of incidents in delivery. GLS makes it easy to deliver parcels to private recipients thanks to its system of advance information by email about delivery and the possibility of redirecting shipments. The service is available for the shipment of national and international packages to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Cost of shipments

Flat rate of 9 euros for all orders with an amount of less than 190 euros regardless of the number of items purchased, destined anywhere in the Iberian Peninsula, Ceuta, Melilla, Balearic Islands and Canary Islands; if the amount of the purchase exceeds 190 euros, the shipment will be free with a MAXIMUM FRANCHISE of 30 euros of shipping. In case the cost of shipping both by weight and volume exceeds 30 euros, the customer will pay the difference regardless of the value of the purchase.

The possibility of placing orders without shipping costs when the customer wants them to be sent by his agency, will always be when the customer has previously paid for the products purchased; at that time we will deposit the package in the transport agency that you have indicated, being the costs of the aforementioned agency in charge of the buyer, who will pay them directly to the agency chosen by him.

If the customer requests an urgent shipment, there is no problem in doing it being the extra shipping costs at their expense.

International shipping to the EU will cost €25, with the possibility of including a surcharge for excess weight or volume in large orders, informing you in advance of the condition in the event of a situation.

Incidents in the delivery of your order

In the event of any incident in the delivery of your order you can see it in the status of your order and in the tracking of the delivery, we will also send you an email when the chosen Delivery Service notifies us of it.

For claim of incidents in the delivery you must add a message from the detail of the order in question. You also have at your disposal the email address:, where we will answer your questions from Monday to Friday.
