The LokPilot 5 micro DCC is a "pure" DCC decoder. Speed levels from 14 to 128 are as natural as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be activated. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders connect to a suitable digital control center automatically.
It controls all DCC programming modes, and thanks to RailCom®, the CV values on the main track can be read from the appropriate control centers. Auxiliary registers are available for control panels that can program CVs from 1 to 255. The LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoder recognizes Märklin® braking distances as well as ZIMO® HLU/ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake modules or DC voltage is also possible. Furthermore, it can also stop with a Selectrix® brake diode. An automatic ABC shuttle train enables automatic travel between two stations.
The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder can be used on analog DC railways. The maximum speed can be set separately.
The decoder switches between operating modes fully automatically "on the fly." Most of the time, no adjustment is necessary.
Features
We know you want your locomotives to be as realistic as possible. Therefore, we have equipped the LokPilot 5 micro DCC with an impressive number of function outputs. The 6- or 8-pin wiring harness variants offer four amplified function outputs, each with an output current of 180 mA, as well as two logic-level outputs for servos or Susi. The Next18 or PluX16 interface versions have a total of six amplified outputs and two logic-level outputs. All important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be adjusted separately. The decoder controls automatic pressure and release upon uncoupling for ROCO®, Krois®, and Telex® couplings. Motor Control
The motor control of the LokPilot 5 micro DCC has been fundamentally improved once again. An adjustable PWM clock frequency from 10 kHz to 50 kHz ensures super-quiet operation, especially with bell-arm motors: the typical "humming" is a thing of the past. Load control can now be adapted to demanding applications up to 10 HP. The unique "Autotune" function allows the decoder to be automatically calibrated according to the motor. With a motor current of up to 0.75 A, the LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoder provides sufficient power for the intended application scenarios.
Operational Safety
If desired, a PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 micro for connecting dirty rail sections.
Protection
Of course, the motor output and function outputs are protected against overload.
We want you to enjoy your decoder for as long as possible.
