Description

Railway company: DB (Deutsche Bundesbahn – German Federal Railways).

The two wagons feature period-appropriate advertising: one is green and bears the "PERSIL" detergent brand, while the other is yellow and features the "HWE" bicycle manufacturer brand.

Wagon registration numbers: 221 140 and 575 817.

Equipped with a close-coupling mechanism and NEM 355/356 coupler pockets.

Era III.

The prototype "Oppeln" type wagon, which had a wheelbase of 6 meters, entered mass production in 1933. Due to their robust design and versatility, many of these wagons remained in commercial service in Germany (DB) and Austria (ÖBB) well into the 1980s.
