The Somua S-35 was a medium tank used by the French Army during World War II. It was manufactured by the French company SOMUA (Société d'Outillage Mécanique et d'Usinage d'Artillerie), a subsidiary of Schneider Electric. It is considered the best tank in the French Army's service during the 1940 campaign in France.
